Animoca Brands has announced the acquisition of the digital collectibles and gaming company SOMO.

BlockBeats News, January 14th, according to the official blog, Animoca Brands has completed the acquisition of digital collectibles and gaming company SOMO. SOMO owns products such as "SOMO Codex," "SOMO Duel," and flagship game "SOMO Battleground," with an ecosystem dedicated to transforming digital collectibles into cross-game playable, livestreamable, and tradeable assets.
Following the acquisition, Animoca Brands plans to leverage its existing Web3 ecosystem to develop the SOMO brand, achieve cross-promotion, and drive growth of the merged community.
