Former Fed Vice Chair: Fed Expected to Cautiously Lower Policy Rate
BlockBeats News, August 25, Pimco Global Economic Advisor and former Fed Vice Chairman Richard Clarida said in a report that the Fed seems to be ready to cut policy rates soon, but will do so cautiously.
Powell's highly anticipated speech at last week's Jackson Hole annual symposium did not disappoint the market, and the Fed's launch of a revised monetary policy framework did not surprise Fed watchers.
