Zhipu Builds 1GW Data Center Using Domestic Chips

Zhipu AI has completed a 1GW data center and has begun partial operations. This center exclusively uses domestic chips, primarily for training and iterating the GLM model. Zhipu is also building or operating multiple clusters, each with over 10,000 chips. The 1GW power supply capacity is approximately equivalent to the simultaneous electricity consumption of 750,000 households, and it is expected to become one of the largest computing power centers for AI laboratories in China.
