BlockBeats News, January 27th, according to Bitget market data, spot gold continues to rise, recently breaking through the historical high of $5100 per ounce, leading the entire tokenized gold sector to rise. Currently, the total market value of tokenized gold has risen to $5.27 billion, with a 24-hour increase of 0.8%, including:
XAUT's market value has risen to $2.63 billion, accounting for approximately 50% of the market share, with a 24-hour trading volume of $432 million;
PAXG's market value has risen to $2.06 billion, accounting for approximately 39% of the market share, with a 24-hour trading volume of $520 million.
PAX Gold (PAXG) is a gold-pegged digital currency issued by Paxos, while XAUT (Tether Gold) is a gold-pegged digital currency issued by Tether. Each token of PAXG and XAUT is pegged to 1 ounce of gold.
