BlockBeats News, December 7th, according to Coinmarketcap data, the Altcoin Season Index is currently at 19. It had previously peaked at 78 on September 20th and had an average value of 25 last week. This index shows that in the past 90 days, about 19 projects among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization have outperformed Bitcoin in terms of price.
Note: The CMC Cryptocurrency Altseason Index is a real-time indicator used to assess whether the current cryptocurrency market is in an altcoin-dominated season. This index is based on the performance of the top 100 altcoins relative to Bitcoin in the past 90 days.
