She Shenzhen was repatriated today, having been involved in an illegal blockchain financing project.
BlockBeats News, November 12th: Today, Tang Kriang Kai, a Cambodian Chinese national and transnational criminal who was involved in an illegal blockchain fundraising project, was escorted by the Thai police to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and extradited to China. Earlier on November 10th, the Office of the Attorney General of Thailand stated that the Appeals Court upheld the ruling of the first-instance court to extradite Tang Kriang Kai to China to stand trial for his illegal activities, including running an illegal casino, which violated Chinese law.
Tang Kriang Kai's main crime was to create and operate 239 illegal gambling websites, with the involved funds totaling over 1.263 trillion Thai Baht (approximately RMB 2.77 trillion). He had long been engaged in gambling and telecom fraud activities in Myanmar's Myawaddy KK Special Economic Zone and the "Asia Pacific New City," luring Chinese citizens to participate in illegal transactions through online platforms. Tang Kriang Kai also built the Asia Pacific New City in the Dawei Special Economic Zone on the Thai-Myanmar border, claiming that the project was the first landing project of blockchain technology for global financing. However, it was actually involved in online gambling and telecom fraud operations.
