Akash Network Lowers Web3 Entry Barriers with Email Login

Akash Network (AKT) has launched 'Akash Console Onboarding'. With this update, users can deploy decentralized GPU and cloud resources in about 30 seconds using only their email account, without needing a digital asset wallet or AKT tokens. Previously, users had to go through a complex 15-step process involving purchasing AKT tokens, creating a wallet, and setting up the network. The new system simplifies the onboarding process to four steps through Google and GitHub account integration and email verification. Users can select their desired app template or Docker image, and the console system automatically matches them with the optimal host, generating a runnable URL in 15 to 30 seconds. New users receive $1 worth of free credits that can be used for 30 days without needing to register a credit card. Those who wish to continue using the service can make payments and utilize the auto-recharge feature with a minimum recharge amount of $20. If users recharge more than $100 on their first payment, they will receive a 10% bonus credit up to a maximum of $100. Akash Network emphasizes that this overhaul is the first step in lowering entry barriers and plans to expand the ecosystem so that anyone can conveniently access the open computing marketplace using just their email address.
